About A Million Of Us(AMU) Foundation

A Million of Us Foundation was established by a group of people, passionate and desiring to make a change in the life and development of young people between ages 4-18 in Nigeria. They are contributing their time, skills, knowledge and energies for the overall development and empowerment of the youths in Nigeria and in the diaspora.

Type And Nature Of AMU Foundation

AMU is a Foundation committed to the professional development of the child. It is a foundation, and not-for-profit, non-sectarian, non-partisan, ethically and morally bound in principles, non-religious, and working to achieve the overall development of children and young people in the society, with Nigeria as a starting point, then the world. It is a human-centered foundation.

AMU BROAD OBJECTIVES

The following are broad objectives of AMU:

  • Promote and organize bi-annual concerts for children and youth to showcase their talents.
  • Work with other stakeholders to advocate music education in schools.
  • Promote and organize where youths can compete in sports and win scholarships and other awards.
  • Work with other stakeholders to facilitate exchange programs.
  • Support capacity development of Nigerian children and youths within and outside the country.
Exchange Programs
  • Participate in local and international conference/competitions and other exposures.
